Scope Framework

How we scope
our work.

No vague proposals. No scope creep. A clear framework that protects both of us and keeps the focus on results.

Why Scope Matters

Clarity before we start

Every engagement at GritNations starts with a formal scope. Not because we're bureaucratic, but because vague briefs produce vague results, and vague results produce frustration on both sides.

Our Scope Framework defines exactly what we'll deliver, how we'll measure it, and what we need from you in return. It's the foundation for an accountable working relationship.

The Process

From brief to delivery

Phase 01

Discovery

We start by understanding your business, your goals, your audience and your current marketing activity. We ask the questions that reveal what you actually need, not just what you have asked for.

Phase 02

Scoping Session

A structured working session to define deliverables, timelines, success metrics and responsibilities. This becomes the foundation of your proposal and our working agreement.

Phase 03

Proposal & Agreement

A clear, written proposal covering scope of work, commercial terms, review cadence and communication norms. No surprises.

Phase 04

Onboarding

We get access to the accounts and assets we need, brief the team, and set up reporting. The first two weeks are about getting the foundations right.

Phase 05

Active Delivery

Work gets done. You get regular updates, access to the team and honest reporting, not just the numbers that flatter us.

Phase 06

Review & Renew

We review progress against the agreed success metrics, discuss what to do next and agree the next phase. Every renewal is a conscious choice, not an automatic rollover.

Mutual Expectations

What we need from you

A good agency relationship is a two-way street. The clients we do our best work for are those who show up, give feedback and make timely decisions.

We're not a set-and-forget supplier. We are a working partner, which means we will sometimes push back, ask uncomfortable questions and tell you things you might not want to hear. That's where the value is.

What a strong client relationship looks like

  • A named point of contact who can make decisions
  • Access to the brand assets, platforms and information we need
  • Feedback within agreed response windows
  • Openness about what's working and what isn't inside the business
  • A willingness to test, learn and iterate
